He supports the design, delivery and evaluation of person-centred health interventions for the management of severe stigmatizing skin diseases in Liberia, particularly in relation to health financing and health economic issues, from community, patient and health service perspectives. Smith is a highly motivated and experienced development practitioner with extensive experience in Program Management, SMEs & Entrepreneurship Development, Development Policy Analysis and Research.  He worked as Head of Secretariat of the Federation of Liberian Youth and Resource & Senior Policy Officer at the National Legislature of Liberia. He has also worked as a Technical Specialist, Policy Seminar Lecturer for USAID/Social Impact, on the Liberia Strategic Analysis Project (LSA), where he provides lectures series for mid and senior career officials of the government of Liberia.  He serves as a Lecturer of Economics at the Cuttington University Graduate School of Professional Studies & the Graduate School of the University of Liberia in Monrovia. His research fields of interest include Private Sector Development, Development Financing, Health Financing and Health economics issues in Health Systems Strengthening.
