Hannah Berrian

Hannah collaborates with stakeholders, affected persons and communities, supporting health systems research, and developing strategies for referral, detection, and treatment of affected patients. She has several years of professional experience in project management, qualitative and quantitative research, implementation, and multi-disciplinary research, building capacity for mental health research, and sexual and reproductive health programs, among others.  She served as Liberia’s Mental Health Research Capacity Building Coordinator for Youth FORWARD, the US-National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) funded project from a collaboration between the Boston College of Social Work, College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (CoMAS) of the University of Sierra Leone and UL-PIRE Africa Center at the University of Liberia, respectively.  Ms. Berrian obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) and is passionate about building research capacity in Liberia, mentoring and empowering young adolescent females, and promoting women’s health.
