Julie Irving

Julie has 15 years’ experience supporting various programmes hosted at LSTM, including within the Centre for Neglected Tropical Diseases (CNTD) and the Centre for Health Systems Strengthening (CHESS). Julie has also worked as a Research and Business Support Manager in the LSTM Research Office, managing the 2014 submission to the Research Excellence Framework. Whilst simultaneously managing the implementation of the institutions first research information system CONVERIS. Julie has an MPH form the London School of hygiene and Tropical Medicine and currently provides strategic project management services within REDRESS, COUNTDOWN,  and numerous small grants, with responsibilities including the legal, contractual, financial and administrative management of programmes; developing the appropriate processes and procedures for managing projects; providing smooth financial control and strengthening international relationships and communications with multiple partners and funders.
